Caucasian Tales
The Caucasus are mountains... That's all we know about The Caucasus. But we can imagine it in the tales of the people of The Caucasus. And what an interesting country they live in!
Rabbits do not scamper there, they walk slowly as if they went for a stroll. Mosquitoes ride horses and search for their lost king. Is there anyone who could give them some advice? Yes, there is - a mouse who gave her baby such a name that it turned out to be fatal for it.
You will also meet some barefoot fogies who accompany their headless friend on his way to his wife because they want to ask her whether their friend has ever had a head or not.
Tales and music from such a country will catch your interest, they'll amuse and surprise you.

The three fairy-tales are played with marionettes, Javanese and other types of puppets - with a music accompaniment of a drum, violin, accordion and balalaika. They are beautiful, witty, with a touch of the absurd, funny and illuminative - like all good fairy-tales should be...

Kvelb Theatre performs Caucasian Tales primarily for children from kindergartens and elementary schools, but the tales will undoubtedly amuse grown-up audience as well.

The play is partly based on text, so we have subtitles, operated by two other actors. The play can also be performed in the street at any time of the day or night.
